Women from different walks of life are set to gather for a powerful and transformative event dubbed “Beauty Beyond the Scars, A New Woman Rises,” an initiative aimed at healing, empowering, and uplifting women who have overcome life’s toughest challenges.

Organized by Namuyimbwa Women Development Initiative Uganda Limited, the event seeks to shine a light on the silent battles many women face, including domestic violence, sexual abuse, abandonment, single motherhood, and emotional trauma. Through inspiring conversations and personal testimonies, the event will encourage women to embrace their journeys and rediscover their strength.
The event will be hosted by renowned Ugandan socialite and entrepreneur Bad Black, who has openly shared her own experiences of resilience and personal transformation over the years.
Several prominent female personalities are expected to grace the event, including Halima Namakula, Suzan Makula Bujjingo, Spice Diana, Karole Kasita, Vinka, Gabbie Ntaate, Christine Nampeera, and Nalongo Lewis, among others.
Under the theme “No More Tears, No More Shame, No More Silence,” Bad Black says the gathering will provide a safe space for women to share experiences, find encouragement, and connect with others who have walked similar paths.
The event is scheduled to take place on September 12, 2026, at Kabira Country Club, running from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Speaking about the initiative, organizers noted that many women continue to carry invisible wounds that often go unnoticed by society. The event aims to remind attendees that their scars do not define them and that every woman deserves healing, dignity, and a chance to rise again.

Tickets are available in different categories, with Early Bird tickets going for UGX 50,000, Ordinary tickets at UGX 100,000, and VIP access at UGX 500,000.
“Beauty Beyond the Scars” is expected to be more than just an event, it will be a movement dedicated to restoring hope, inspiring resilience, and celebrating the strength of women who refuse to let their past determine their future.
