Former Busiro South MP and Super FM proprietor Pastor Peter Ssematimba’s multi-million-shilling mansion in Lubaga, Kampala, has reportedly come under the spotlight over claims of possible bank repossession.
The claims, circulating on social media in September 2026, allege that Ssematimba obtained financing from a bank but has not cleared the outstanding amount within the agreed period.
According to reports, including posts attributed to Celeb Patrol UG the lender could move to recover or seize the property if the alleged debt remains unpaid.
However, details surrounding the claims remain unclear.
The exact amount allegedly owed, the bank involved and the current status of the property have not been established. The reports have also not been independently confirmed by mainstream media outlets or by Ssematimba himself.
Ssematimba is a longtime Ugandan media personality who founded Super FM and has previously worked in radio, including roles linked to CBS FM.
He also served briefly as the NRM Member of Parliament for Busiro South before losing the seat following a court case concerning his academic qualifications.
The media proprietor has been associated with residences and properties in the Lubaga area of Kampala, as well as ties to the United States, including Los Angeles.
While older public information indicates that Ssematimba owns various properties, there are currently no confirmed sale listings or official bank notices establishing that the specific Lubaga mansion is facing repossession.
