Singer Ronald Alimpa has appealed to the public for help after revealing that he is struggling to rebuild his life following his release from prison, where he says he spent nearly four months on remand.
Alimpa explained that he was arrested in Kasanje after performing at a bar and was taken to a police station before appearing before the Wakiso court. He said he was remanded to Sentema Prison before being transferred to Kigo Prison, where he remained for months without making any court appearances.
According to the singer, fellow inmates assured him that his case would eventually be heard, and he was later returned to Sentema Prison before finally being presented in court and released on the 23rd.
The Seen Don singer said the experience has left him with nothing, adding that his journey since breaking into the music industry has been filled with setbacks. He recalled surviving a serious road accident shortly after the success of his hit song and described his recent imprisonment as another major blow to his career and personal life.
Now back in the public, Alimpa says he urgently needs support to get back on his feet. He revealed that he currently has no phone, nowhere to stay, and lacks the resources needed to restart his music career. He has called on fans, friends, and well-wishers to help him recover and begin a new chapter after his release.
