Upcoming singer Sqoop Larma has publicly expressed his desire to collaborate with fellow artist Sheebah Karungi, saying she is one of the musicians he has always wanted to work with.
Speaking during an interview on Sanyuka TV, Sqoop Larma made a direct appeal to Sheebah, asking her to consider recording a song with him. He revealed that he already has several ideas for potential collaborations and believes they could create great music together.
“I’m looking for you mummy and please consider me. There are many songs we can pick from to collaborate on,” he said.
The singer also shared his thoughts on why many artists are increasingly relying on their old music to stage successful concerts, while classic songs continue to dominate the industry.
According to Sqoop Larma, many musicians from his generation have focused too much on following trends instead of creating timeless music with lasting value.
He noted that veteran musicians often sang about meaningful subjects rather than temporary trends, which is why their songs continue to resonate with audiences years later.
Sqoop Larma added that although quality music may not bring immediate rewards, it can become an artist’s greatest asset in the future, continuing to generate appreciation and opportunities long after its release.
